ViolentMonkey can no longer be installed on Chrome despite listing in Chrome Web Store

The ViolentMonkey website links to this extension listing on the Chrome Web Store:

However, when I visit this listing using the Chrome browser, I am shown this message in red:

This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.

I'm guessing this happened because of Chrome's transition to Manifest V3, which is less powerful, and may ban extensions like Violentmonkey from running custom scripts. In that case, the website should be updated to no longer point to the Chrome Web Store.

It's still in the web store if you use a ManifestV2-enabled browser or force-enable ManifestV2 in your Chrome as explained in #2284 via flags or policies.
