eSim 2.5 Ubuntu 25.04 zip release (Task 4)

FOSSEE Semester Long Internship Autumn 2026 | Task 4 Release Package

This release contains the complete pre-packaged distribution archive for eSim v2.5 and NGHDL updated for Ubuntu 25.04.

What's Included in the Zip Archive:

• Upgraded automated installer scripts (install-eSim.sh & install-eSim-scripts/)
• Pre-packaged NGHDL source archive (nghdl.zip)
• Pre-packaged KiCad library archive (library/kicadLibrary.tar.xz)
• Fixes for Python 3.13 / PyQt6 virtual environment dependencies
• Fixes for C header compilation (libfftw3-dev, libreadline-dev)
• INI configuration overwrite logic fix (DuplicateSectionError)

Quick Execution:

1. Extract the downloaded .zip file on your Ubuntu 25.04 machine.
2. Open terminal inside the extracted directory.
3. Run the installer:

   chmod +x install-eSim.sh
   ./install-eSim.sh --install

4. Launch eSim by typing esim or using the desktop shortcut.
