Rail v0.2.4

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Oct 19:24
7fb67ac

Added

  • Release binaries for Linux ARM64 and for macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel, built by GitHub
    Actions from the release tag with build provenance attestations.

Fixed

  • sync.status now counts a refused change as failed by the time action.failed arrives, so
    a client that checks the status on the notice no longer sees the old count.
  • A config save from the TUI (:theme, :time, :hints, ...) and a daemon edit of the
    config (adding or removing an account, changing where tokens are stored) at the same moment
    could lose one of the two changes. Every edit of config.toml now holds a lock on
    config.lock beside it, and each write uses its own temporary file. Reported by
    @armangurkan.

Rail v0.2.3 adds sidebar paging and fixes two certificate-verification advisories in the TLS stack.

  • Page the sidebar a screen at a time with Ctrl-d and Ctrl-u, or PageDown and PageUp (#80). Thanks to @dhallas for the first outside contribution.
  • Security: updated rustls-webpki to 0.103.16 (RUSTSEC-2026-0382) and webpki-roots to 1.0.11 (RUSTSEC-2026-0381). Both affect certificate verification on Rail's connections to Gmail and Microsoft Graph (#87, #88).
  • Updated Tokio from 1.53.3 to 1.54.1 and rmcp from 3.5.1 to 3.7.0, plus the CI cache, tool installer and CodeQL actions (#82–#86, via #88).

Rail v0.2.2

Rail v0.2.2 updates dependencies and CI while retaining Rust 1.88 support.

  • Updated Tokio from 1.53.2 to 1.53.3, including runtime and synchronization fixes (#78).
  • Updated the pinned Rust toolchain action (#77).
  • Added narrowly scoped exceptions for three maintenance notices in the Linux keyring dependency tree. Vulnerability checks remain enabled; the exceptions can be removed once the keyring backend migrates to zbus 6 and its compiler requirement is supported.
