- Bambu Lab printer on the same reachable network as Printbuddy.
- LAN access / Developer Mode enabled where required.
- Printer IP address or hostname.
- Access code.
- Serial number when required by the local connection workflow.
Depending on printer model and firmware, local access may be called LAN mode, LAN-only mode, or Developer Mode.
Use the printer screen or Bambu Studio device settings to find:
- Access code.
- Printer serial/device ID.
- Local IP address.
In Printbuddy:
- Add printer.
- Choose Bambu Lab.
- Enter name, IP/hostname, access code, serial number, and model.
- Save and verify the dashboard card.
- Bambu-specific AMS, calibration, FTP, and local MQTT behavior belongs to the Bambu provider only.
- If the printer connects but status remains unknown, double-check the serial number casing and any LAN access setting.
- If camera access fails, test the printer network path first, then configure an external camera URL if needed.
