Printer Management

Printer Management is where configured printers are added, edited, tested, and removed.

Common tasks

• Add a new printer.
• Edit IP address, API URL, model, location, or camera URL.
• Test provider connectivity.
• Review printer-specific settings.
• Remove old printers.

Provider-specific settings

Printbuddy stores provider-specific details separately instead of forcing every printer into a Bambu-shaped configuration.

Examples:

• Bambu Lab uses serial/access-code/local-service information.
• Moonraker providers use an API URL and optional token.
• PrusaLink uses the local HTTP API and Prusa credentials/secret.
• Prusa Connect uses UUID/token/API base information.

Safe editing rule

Change one thing at a time and verify the printer after saving. If a printer stops updating, revert the last changed URL/token/provider field first.
