Release list
v2.1.0
2.1.0
New
- Shield and charge bars for Doom of Mokhaiotl, Kephri, and Yama's void flares, with their own width, height and gap.
- Damage trail behind the bar as HP drops, and a fade-out on death for NPC bars, now on by default.
- Elemental weakness icon and percentage beside an NPC's bar.
- Combat levels for other players, and combat-level coloring for NPC and player names on the game's red-to-green scale. Friends' names draw green.
- Per-section text colors, a player blacklist, a "Neither" display mode, and a display-mode dropdown for other players.
- ToA HP off the game's own HUD, with minion, obelisk and Crondis palm values scaled to team size. The exposed core stays a percentage.
- Crashed stars and the Gemstone Crab get their own bar treatment.
Fixes
- One hit no longer draws as several hitsplats.
- Same-tile stacking: names and bars no longer overlap, one overhead icon draws per tile, and the stack waits for the model to arrive before claiming a tile.
- Chat text and hitsplats survive when your own bar wins the tile.
- Hiding the native health bar no longer hides mechanic bars along with it.
- Void flare HP is tracked from spawn, and Yama's minions no longer grey out.
Config cut down - read this if you have customised settings
The config went from ~150 options to 106, reordered, with eleven checkbox pairs folded into single dropdowns. Each dropdown keeps its partner's stored value, so most settings carry over, and a stock profile sees no behavioural change at all - every fixed value is the old default.
Value gone, feature stays, now fixed at their old defaults: the gradient's mid/low colors and midpoints, the shield, charge and stamina colors, the damage-trail hold and drain timings, and the death fade length. The Toggle Weakness Icons hotkey is gone. Show Pet Names is gone because pets are now always hidden.
Turns something on by itself - worth checking after you update:
- Grey Out Bars & Names kept the bars key, so greying bars only now greys names too.
- Restore Previews kept the food key, so previewing food only now previews prayer and run energy too.
- The prayer bar's "hidden while not praying" plus "shown out of combat" pairing no longer exists; it lands on "while praying".
Cosmetic: around 45 options renamed, every section reordered, and Hotkeys folded into "Behavior & Hotkeys". Nothing is lost, but older guides and screenshots name options that no longer exist.
v2.0.1
2.0.1
Fixes
- Self HP bar no longer snaps onto an NPC's bar on a shared tile. Self was previously subject to the same tile-stacking reference-actor logic as any other actor, so a hitbox push or standing under a large NPC could compute self's bar from the NPC's anchor instead of the player's own. Self is now always forced to be its own tile's reference actor; other actors sharing the tile still stack relative to self, never the reverse. Confirmed live at Blood Moon and Blue Moon.
- Other players' names no longer bunch up when sharing self's exact tile. A name-only entry (no bar) on self's tile was stacking above self's whole bar reservation; it now renders at its normal default position instead.
- Self's bar no longer expires mid-fight when only dealing damage. Self's tracked state now also refreshes on outgoing hits (including 0-damage blocks), not just incoming damage.
- Native bar overrides are now re-asserted on scene reload (
LOADING->LOGGED_IN), so a scene rebuild can no longer let the native bar flash back through.
Chores / internal
compileJava/compileTestJavanow always run for real instead of reporting staleUP-TO-DATE, which had previously masked whether a fix build was actually being exercised.runPluginnow launches with--developer-modefor easier live debugging.
Docs
- TODO.md renumbered/clarified around the tile-stacking bug family now that the self-bar item is fixed and confirmed.
v2.0.0
v2.0.0
Features
- Other players' names (Show Player Name / Always Show Player Name / Player Name Color)
- New "Other Player Bar — Style" section: independent bar color, gradient, background,
opacity, and vertical offset for other players, separate from your own bar - Always Show Player HP Bar — other players' bars can show outside combat, not just
once tracked - Same-tile stacking for bars and names, for both NPCs and players — replaces flat
overlap with a claimed vertical stack that reacts correctly to camera angle - NPC Stack Limit / Player Stack Limit — cap how many actors render on one crowded tile
- Prioritize Self on Same Tile — hide a co-located NPC's/player's bar and name instead
of stacking with your own - Hotkeys — independent keybinds to instantly toggle names and HP bars
- Per-bar Always Show toggles for your own bars — HP, Prayer, Special, and Run can each
now show outside combat independently - Prayer tick timer — sweeping flick-timing indicator across the Prayer bar, with its
own color and a "hide while not praying" toggle - HP/bar text alignment (Left/Center/Right), for both NPC and player bars
- Loot-key-carrying PK skull variants (the skull graphic now reflects key count, not
just plain-skulled) - Config sections now collapsed by default on first open
Bug fixes
- NPC HP bar no longer lingers through the death animation — hides the instant the
killing blow lands, independent of persist duration (issue #22) - Other players' (and self's) HP bars had the same death-animation-lingering bug —
fixed too - NPC names under "Always Show NPC Name" no longer linger through the death animation
after the bar has already vanished - Same-tile bar/name stacking no longer drifts into overlap as camera angle changes
- Same-tile stacking no longer staggers left/right
- Same-tile stack no longer snaps/jumps when a new actor walks into an already-settled
group - "Always Show NPC/Player Name" silently did nothing whenever the matching "Always Show
Bar" toggle was already on - Vertical Offset (Other Players) now moves the name too, not just the bar
- Overhead skull/prayer icon no longer drifts from its row during heavy same-tile
stacking - Overhead chat text now anchors at its real vanilla position above the head instead of
tracking the bar/name stack — was visibly shifting depending on which bars were
showing, and sitting too close to the model at low vertical offsets - PK skull icon now actually renders — the plugin was suppressing the native one to
draw a replacement, but no replacement existed, so it just vanished - Overhead skull/prayer icon now shows correctly for a player with only a skull or
prayer icon and no bar/name at all — previously got nothing, native icon included - Run energy bar was still tied to the combat/tracked lifecycle despite being
documented as showing "regardless of combat state" — fixed to depend purely on its
own drain timeout - Solo player bar (only one of HP/Prayer/Special/Run showing) was pinned flush against
the head, ignoring its configured vertical offset — now always applies the offset
like every other bar count - Crash fix:
NullPointerExceptionin overhead chat text drawing and
onScriptPostFiredfrom unchecked nulls
Performance
- Cached per-tick NPC-tracked-state lookup instead of recomputing it every rendered
frame in the "Always Show NPC Bar/Name" pass
Removed / changed
- Other players' Display Mode setting removed — their bars are now always shown as a
percentage (Number/Both never worked reliably for them) - "Replace Overhead Icon" toggle removed — the icon/hitsplat/chat-text redraw is always
on now
Docs
- README: removed the stale "PvP untested" note, fixed Configuration docs that had
drifted from the actual config (missing sections, a documented setting that doesn't
exist), added a RuneLite Patreon link, trimmed redundant phrasing - TODO.md: renumbered, and restored two open bugs (Verzik/Nylocas pillars) that had
gone missing despite still being unresolved
v1.2.0
New Features
- Bar Opacity — a transparency slider for the bar's background, fill, and border, configurable separately for the target and player bars.
- Run Energy bar — joins the player's HP/Prayer/Special stack, with a restore preview (e.g. hovering a Stamina potion), a distinct fill color while a Stamina potion's drain-reduction effect is active, and a drain-based timeout so it doesn't linger on screen while idle.
- Bar position pickers — four independent dropdowns (Bar 1–4) choose which bar goes in each stack slot, replacing the old fixed HP/Prayer/Special ordering.
Fixes
- ToA/ToB region detection was reading a raw instance-chunk coordinate instead of the real static region, so raid checks never matched in any actual raid. This silently broke:
- The "never grey out in a communal-loot raid" exemption for Ironmen
- ToA minions/bosses greying out incorrectly on shared damage
- ToA minions showing raw HP instead of a percentage
Removed
- "Hide While Full" option removed entirely for the Special Attack and Run Energy bars.
v1.1.0
New features
- Special attack bar — an optional third bar alongside HP and Prayer, with its own colour and a hide-while-full option. Shows in combat only, matching the HP bar.
- Configurable bar order — arrange HP, Prayer, and special attack in any top-to-bottom order.
- NPC combat level — optionally append (lvl N) to the NPC name.
- NPC name truncation — optionally cap NPC names at a set length (1-50, default 16) so long names don't overhang the bar.
- HP colour gradient — per profile, blends the bar from your main colour at full HP through a mid colour at a configurable midpoint to a low colour at empty. Off by default; enabling it changes nothing until HP drops.
- Colour aggressive NPC bars — fills an aggressive NPC's bar with the aggressive colour, not just its name. The old "Aggressive NPC Name Color" is now one shared "Aggressive NPC Color" driving both.
- Prayer bar colour — now configurable (previously hardcoded).
- HP text spacing — per profile, pushes the HP number and percentage apart in Both mode. Both mode also drops the parentheses that used to wrap a player's percentage.
- Grey out names — greys the NPC name on loot-tainted kills, mirroring the existing Grey Out Health Bars option.
Fixes
- Bleed tint timing — the tint now lights when the bleed applies rather than on its first damage tick, and clears immediately on a cure. Previously a haemostatic dressing left the bar red for up to ~19 seconds. Disease now reads the same varplayer core uses, so Relicym's balm clears it on the same tick.
- Prayer bar flicker — the bar now samples once per tick the way core's Prayer plugin does, instead of also reacting mid-tick to prayers being switched on.
- Loot-taint detection — the plugin now also reads the game's own Ironman warning messages to mark NPCs someone else has damaged, on top of the existing hitsplat heuristic.
- HP numbers reading 0 on a living NPC — the precise-HP estimate used the wrong inverse of the server's health ratio, and its self-correction tolerance was as wide as its own error, so the number could stick at 0 and never recover (up to 34 HP off on the Gauntlet Hunllef). Now clamped to an exact bounded range.
- Missing bars on non-attackable NPCs — ToB Verzik's Supporting Pillars and The Whisperer's Floating Columns were never tracked, so with "hide native health bar" on there was no bar at all. Fixed.
- Zero-damage hits from other players now correctly grey the bar.
- Corrected NPC max-HP data for the Crystalline/Corrupted Gauntlet demi-bosses, plus new entries for Amoxliatl, Yama, and Doom of Mokhaiotl.
Other
- Config reorganised — the Target and Player sections had grown to 34 and 32 options each, and are now split into "Style" and "NPC Info"/"Player Info". No setting keys changed, so saved profiles carry over.
