This tutorial will use Linux Bash, git and gh packages. However, you can use any other command line interface compatible with Git and GitHub tools, if you don't mind searching about the dependency installing process for this tutorial.

1. Dependency Installing

# Debian/Ubuntu
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
sudo apt install -y git gh

# Fedora
sudo dnf update --refresh && sudo dnf upgrade -y
sudo dnf install -y git gh

# Arch Linux
sudo pacman -Syyu
sudo pacman -Sy --needed git gh

2. Loggging in to GitHub

gh auth login

Then you should follow the steps of the assistant and specify the use of HTTPS protocol (this will ask to open a link with a web browser and put the verification code shown in the command line).

3. Create Repository

cd example && git init
echo "example" >> README.md
git branch -m main
git add README.md
git commit -m "first commit"
gh repo create example --public
git push -u origin main

Important Notes

Remember to replace the word example by your repository name.
