ProDeck v0.9.106

Choose a tag to compare

@cornerstonechurchct cornerstonechurchct released this 12 Oct 14:03

New

  • A Settings page you can find your way around. Settings is now six sections (Connections, Sound, Automation, Online, Crew & screens, App & help), one at a time, instead of one long scroll.
  • Find a setting: type in the search box and ProDeck looks through every word on every card.
  • A bar appears as soon as you change something, with Discard and Save changes, and ProDeck asks before you leave Settings with changes unsaved.
  • Crew & screens shows how many people are waiting to join your crew.

Install

  1. Download ProDeck.dmg, open it, drag ProDeck to Applications.
  2. First open only (macOS 15 and later): double-click → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Runs on Intel and Apple Silicon (macOS 10.15+, tested on macOS 27). Installed copies update themselves from this release automatically.

Windows

Download ProDeck_0.9.106_x64-setup.exe and run it. It installs for the current user only, so there's no admin prompt. Installed copies update themselves from this release automatically.

First run only: Windows SmartScreen will say Windows protected your PC, because the installer isn't yet signed with a Microsoft-recognised certificate. Click More info → Run anyway. That is the error, not a fault in the download.

@cornerstonechurchct cornerstonechurchct released this 11 Oct 16:12

New

  • Church Online Platform. Add your Church Online address in Settings and the new Church Online tile counts down to your online service and shows when it's live. Connect its webhooks too and the tile counts who watched and chatted, and lists prayer requests and salvation responses with names as they happen. Pick crew to page, and their phones buzz so someone can go and pray with them.
  • Walk-in music. Control the Spotify or Music app on the booth computer from any dashboard or crew phone: what's playing, play and pause, skip, volume, Start walk-in and Fade out. It fades out by itself so it's silent as each service starts. Mac only for now.
  • Stream Monitor (Resi). Paste your Resi embed code into the new tile to watch your stream as viewers see it. On the booth computer it's picture only: ProDeck plays the stream without its sound, so nothing can reach the house. On phones and kiosks it starts muted.

Fixed

  • If audio monitoring can't start, ProDeck now names the input and says what to try.
  • On the booth, the Stream Monitor now opens at the live point and keeps up, instead of starting from the beginning of the service.

Install

  1. Download ProDeck.dmg, open it, drag ProDeck to Applications.
  2. First open only (macOS 15 and later): double-click → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

New

  • The Slide Grid now shows the whole playlist with a picture of every slide, like the ProPresenter page. It follows ProPresenter from playlist to playlist and keeps the live slide in view, and you can click any slide to put it live.
  • Crew phones and kiosks without control permission see the slides but can't put them live.
  • Prefer the old compact view? Edit the dashboard and set the Slide Grid to show only the live song, as text.

Fixed

  • With several songs open in the playlist, each song now shows all its slides instead of being squeezed to one row.

Install

  1. Download ProDeck.dmg, open it, drag ProDeck to Applications.
  2. First open only (macOS 15 and later): double-click → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

ProDeck v0.9.100

@cornerstonechurchct cornerstonechurchct released this 09 Oct 00:17

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who has sent a report with the new Report a bug button. Every fix below came from one.

New

  • The Slide Grid scrolls with the song, keeping the live slide in view with the next few slides below it. Scroll or click in it yourself and it waits a few seconds before following again.
  • The playlist on the ProPresenter page follows the live slide the same way.

Fixed

  • Slide Preview shows the picture of the slide that's actually live. On songs whose arrangement reorders or repeats sections, the slide number was right but the picture belonged to a different slide.
  • Saving Settings no longer disconnects every phone and kiosk. If phones and kiosks really can't connect, Settings, Browser Access now says why, and which app is using the port.
  • Print a poster on the crew step of setup now prints the join poster. Before, the button did nothing.
  • When the computer won't open the audio input, the SPL meter now says what to check (microphone permission, the input plugged in) instead of doing nothing.
  • A song that appears twice in a playlist, like a reprise, no longer shows both copies as live.

Install

ProDeck v0.9.98

@cornerstonechurchct cornerstonechurchct released this 07 Oct 14:57

New

  • Report a bug or request a feature without leaving ProDeck. The links are at the bottom of the sidebar, on the Help page and in Settings. It comes straight to me, privately, and you can add a screenshot and diagnostics (passwords and keys are always removed).
  • Crash reports. When something breaks, ProDeck now tells White Oak Media what failed and where, so it gets fixed sooner. They never include names, plans or passwords, and you can turn them off in Settings, Help & support.
  • Yamaha CL, QL and TF consoles. Pick Yamaha in setup and enter the desk's IP address, nothing to set on the desk. ProDeck shows channel names, mutes, faders, DCAs and the current scene. It's view only for now and brand new, so if anything looks off on your desk, please report it.
  • Clearer console setup. Pick your desk first and ProDeck asks only for what that desk needs. Desk not listed? Choose Something else and keep going; everything else works without it.
  • Soundcheck playback. Play a recorded service back out through Dante Virtual Soundcard so the band's tracks feed the console for a virtual soundcheck. On an Avantis, the patch sheet shows exactly which channel listens to which track.
  • Privacy and Licences are now in Settings, About.

Fixed

  • Plans that cover two days, like Wednesday and Sunday in one plan, no longer jump to next week's plan on Sunday morning.
  • Follow ProPresenter picks the right item when the same presentation is in the plan twice, like pre-service slides at the start and the end.
  • Follow ProPresenter no longer takes Planning Center Live control away from someone. If another person has control, it tells you instead.
  • Automix asks you to confirm the first time you arm it.

Install

  1. Download ProDeck.dmg, open it, drag ProDeck to Applications.
  2. First open only (macOS 15 and later): double-click → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

@cornerstonechurchct cornerstonechurchct released this 30 Sep 18:23

Thank you

Thank you to every church running ProDeck, and to everyone who sent in a bug, an idea or a kind word. Your support is what keeps this going, and it's a joy to build it with you.

New

  • Step by step setup for multitrack recording: pick the source (Dante or a console over USB), check levels, name tracks, choose a drive.
  • Step by step setup for Automix: your console, which of your faders plays each part, instrument feeds, backing vocals, song timing and speech mics.
  • Automix now works with your desk's own fader names, so "Elec Gtr" works as well as "EGs".
  • ProDeck is a free gift to every church from White Oak Media. You'll see that at the bottom of the sidebar now.

Fixed

  • Pressing Save in Settings no longer undoes changes you made on other pages, like track names on the Recording page.

Install

  1. Download ProDeck.dmg, open it, drag ProDeck to Applications.
  2. First open only (macOS 15 and later): double-click → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
