EFTP_XL 1.4: SFTP and FTPS, through the AERA Pi gateway.

  • SFTP and FTPS. A site's new Protocol row picks FTP, SFTP or FTPS. SFTP and FTPS go through eftpgate, AERA-Gateway's FTP gateway on a Raspberry Pi (sudo gateway/aera-gateway install ftp): the Atari speaks plain FTP to the Pi on the home network, the Pi speaks SFTP or FTPS to the server. ^G in the Sites screen sets the Pi's address (:port if it isn't 2121). Give the site the server's own name, port, user and password; EFTP_XL logs in to the gateway as sftp:user@server:port itself. A blank port is 22 for SFTP.
  • Text files through the gateway go as FTP text (TYPE A), so they get the server's own line ends (LF on SFTP); binary files go as they are. Plain FTP sites work as in 1.3.
  • EFTPXL.CFG keeps the gateway as an @ line and a site's protocol as |1 (SFTP) or |2 (FTPS) after its mode; 1.3's file is read as it is, and FTP sites' lines are unchanged.
  • The README checked line by line against the program: AERA.FNT and EFTPXL.CFG are read from D: (the DOS's current drive and folder), what a blank field means, how to update, and the new SFTP and FTPS section. The test plan has a section 7 for SFTP.
  • The program takes $4000-$9708 and is 15.1K.

Files:

  • EFTPXL.PRG, the program;
  • EFTPXL.ATR, a bootable SpartaDOS 3.2 disk with the program, AERA.FNT and the Mac/65 sources with line numbers, tokenized;
  • AERA.FNT, the font;
  • EFTPTEST.ATR, the test disk, with TESTPLAN.TXT.

On the Atari: LOAD #D:EFTPXL.M65, then ASM ,,#D:EFTPXL.PRG (over the program on the disk).

Checked:

  • the 82 checks of tools/test_sim.py, 7 of them SFTP and FTPS through eftpgate from AERA-Gateway's latest release (v1.1) to the SFTP and FTPS servers of its own tests;
  • in atari800: the disk boots, the program starts with BASIC on and off, the Sites screen shows the Protocol row;
  • MAC/65 1.01 builds the same bytes from the disk (0 errors, 13674 bytes free).

Not yet run on real hardware.
