Interlink 0.9.0 adds Codex CLI support and improves recovery for both Codex and Claude Code.

  • Codex root CLI sessions bind through trusted lifecycle hooks and receive peer messages through the local daemon queue. Claude and Codex can share identities and exchange messages.
  • Shared peer-policy updates are atomic. Pairing requests and confirmations survive restarts, preserve correlation across retries, and refresh unsent signatures after long outages.
  • Claude inboxes preserve unread messages across restarts, and idle listeners renew. Codex delivery retries are bounded, with durable failures recoverable through failed_deliveries.
  • Setup, deployment, task, and recovery documentation now describes current behavior and limits.

Install the complete toolset:

cargo install interlink-mcp --version 0.9.0 --locked

Release archives below contain all four binaries. The npm package provides the MCP server; the Claude plugin invokes it with npx. Update the plugin and restart existing Claude sessions when upgrading.

Validation: 85 tests, formatting, Clippy, dependency checks, and local host fixtures on Codex 0.160.0 and Claude Code 2.1.278. Host fixtures use local responses, not production models. Ordinary message history and outbox remain in memory; delivery is not exactly-once. Codex desktop, remote app-server, ephemeral-thread delivery, and subagents are not supported by this adapter.
