macOS downloads

The macOS DMGs are unsigned and not notarised. After confirming the download came from this official repository, you may need to use System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway for the first launch. SHA-256 checksum files are provided for both installers.

Download the DMG matching your Mac:

LogSalvo 2.4.2 polishes the new two-level navigation and refreshes the project documentation with current Dark and Light mode screenshots.
Fixed
- Removed the extra secondary-tab offset so Connection aligns with the Send workspace tab and the left edge of its content card.
- Added a regression assertion to preserve the corrected alignment.

LogSalvo 2.4.1 introduces persistent Light and Dark appearance modes and refines the desktop application's two-level tab navigation.
Appearance modes
- Switch between Dark and Light modes from the application header.
- Restore the selected appearance automatically on future launches.
- Apply the active palette consistently across forms, tabs, tables, controls, status states, scrollbars, tooltips, and dialogs.
- Use theme-aware receiver severity colours for readable contrast in either mode.
Tab navigation improvements
- Send/Receive now uses a compact rounded primary workspace switch.
- Connection/Message/Run now uses quieter underline-style secondary navigation.
- Removed the native dark strip that appeared across unused tab-bar space in Light mode.
- Improved spacing, hierarchy, borders, hover feedback, selected states, and contrast in both themes.

This is the first public release under the LogSalvo name: a substantial evolution of the original Random Syslog Sender into a branded, standards-aware syslog traffic studio for sending, receiving, inspecting, filtering, and exporting syslog messages.

2.3.1 fix
UniFi CEF events that use a BSD-style timestamp and hostname prefix without a <PRI> header are now recognised correctly. The envelope timestamp and hostname are retained, while the CEF header and extensions populate the receiver fields and structured detail.
