Issue with highlighting of text and links while using "Force GDI font rendering"

When I choose "Force GDI font rendering" in chrome://flags, the blue highlight overlay when highlighting links is pushed downwards. When I disable "Force GDI font rendering" the problem goes away:

This isn't the end of the world and I can live with it - just wanted to point it out... I could of course just disable this flag, but the possibility for GDI font rendering (as well as disabling "RendererCodeIntegrity") is one of the main reasons I have started using Supermium. 😊

I think the issue is not with the highlighting, but the actual text. The text is rendered a few pixels too up when using GDI, and the highlighting works as expected. You can see the problem clearly in this page:
