CorRelator v1.0.0

CorRelator is an open-source Java package that facilitates accurate on-the-fly coordinate translation across multiple platforms and image transformation between fluorescent microscopy and cryo-EM.

  1. Take coordinate (CSV format) and image (MRC, 8-bit TIF, PNG, JPEG format) inputs from various independent image processing packages, e.g. SerialEM, ImageJ/Fiji, MatLab, Excel, IMOD, EMAN2, Paint, PhotoShop, Preview, etc.
  2. Function as a standalone desktop application interacting with SerialEM on-the-fly.
  3. Support user-friendly GUI to guide accurate cryo-correlative FLM-EM/ET data collection.

Get Started

  1. Install Java SE Runtime Environment 8 on Windows/Mac.
  2. Launch CorRelator from the command line with java -jar CorRelator.jar or double-clicking on the CorRelator application.
  3. Download the tutorial files and watch the video. ** For on-the-fly correlation, SerialEM installation and standard setup is required.
