A control surface for Dataton WATCHOUT 7. Lay out your own buttons, sliders and readouts, then drive timelines, cues and variables live.

Windows installer, 97 MB. A license is required and is currently free — request one at license@avtrade.nl and paste the key under Settings → License. Without a license the app runs in demo mode for two hours per session.

What it does

  • Drive WATCHOUT 7 timelines, cues and variables, with live state and playhead
  • Countdown and count-up to markers, read straight from the show
  • Multi-action buttons and a time-of-day scheduler
  • Wake-on-LAN, and projector control over PJLink, Panasonic and Barco Pulse
  • Press Bitfocus Companion buttons and show their live graphics
  • A web remote for phone or tablet on the show LAN

Notes

  • Windows only. macOS has to be built on a Mac and is not published here yet.
  • Not code-signed, so SmartScreen warns on first run: More info → Run anyway.
  • Your surface is saved continuously and restored when you reopen the app.
  • Requires WATCHOUT 7; the REST API on port 3019 must be reachable.
