Grote update sinds 1.4.5 — drie nieuwe widgets, editor-verbeteringen en een universele Mac-build.

Nieuw

• Timeline View widget — een visuele scrubber voor één timeline: liniaal met tijd, elke cue als marker, één laan per laag met mediaclips als balken (echte bestandsnamen uit de Asset Manager), zoom/fit, play/pause/stop en een sleepbare playhead. Klik of sleep op de liniaal om exact naar een tijdstip te springen. Werkt ook op de telefoon.
• Timeline Block widget — de hele show in één blok: één compacte regel per timeline (play/pause + stop + live tijd), met keuze uit huidige tijd / totale lengte / tijd tot volgende cue / countdown. Inklapbare mapkoppen (ook geneste mappen), in Producer-volgorde.
• Cue Sets — bedien WATCHOUT Cue Sets rechtstreeks: presets verschijnen als tegels, tik om te activeren. De actieve preset licht op en volgt wat je in Producer kiest.

Editor

• Ongedaan maken / opnieuw (Ctrl-Z / Ctrl-Y).
• Formaat wijzigen vanaf elke rand of hoek (8 handvatten i.p.v. alleen rechtsonder).

macOS

• Universele build — één download draait native op zowel Apple Silicon als Intel Macs.

Plus diverse verfijningen na veldtests op echte shows.

Two additions. When the LAN web surface is running, a Show QR button lets a phone or tablet open the surface by scanning a code — no typing an IP address. And a Send feedback button (in the About panel) makes it easy to get in touch. Reliability improvements otherwise.

A licence is required and is currently free — request one at license@avtrade.nl and paste the key under Settings → License. Without a licence the app runs in demo mode (up to two hours per session).

WTAV Director Control 1.4.4

Adds a start-up check for new versions: when a newer release is available, the app shows a short notice with your current version and the new one, plus a Download button. It closes itself after a minute, so an unattended machine is never left with a dialog open. Reliability improvements otherwise.

Licensing refinements and reliability improvements. If 1.4.1 works for you, there is no urgency to update.

Your licence activates online once and then runs fully offline. You can move it to another machine yourself under Settings → License ("Deactivate this machine"); the in-app guide explains it.

WTAV Director Control 1.4.1

Clearer wording about the licence. No functional changes — if 1.4.0 works for you, there is no urgency in updating.

The licence chapter used to say that anyone licensed before the app becomes paid "keeps working without interruption". That read as a guarantee that today's free key lasts forever, and that has not been decided. Rather than make a promise that might not be kept, the guide now says plainly that the decision is open, and keeps only what can be promised: you will hear about it well in advance, and nothing stops working through a screen that goes dark mid-show.

It also says what was missing: when it does become paid, it will be priced to be affordable. This is a tool for the people who run the shows.
