Clearer wording about the licence. No functional changes — if 1.4.0 works for you, there is no urgency in updating.

The licence chapter used to say that anyone licensed before the app becomes paid "keeps working without interruption". That read as a guarantee that today's free key lasts forever, and that has not been decided. Rather than make a promise that might not be kept, the guide now says plainly that the decision is open, and keeps only what can be promised: you will hear about it well in advance, and nothing stops working through a screen that goes dark mid-show.

It also says what was missing: when it does become paid, it will be priced to be affordable. This is a tool for the people who run the shows.

Windows installer, 97 MB. A licence is required and is currently free — request one at license@avtrade.nl and paste the key under Settings → License. Without a licence the app runs in demo mode for two hours per session.

Notes

  • Windows only. macOS has to be built on a Mac and is not published here yet.
  • Not code-signed, so SmartScreen warns on first run: More info → Run anyway.
  • Requires WATCHOUT 7; the REST API on port 3019 must be reachable.
