Chests Config

Information for configuring custom chests in chests.yml.

Pattern Templates

In patterns, you may specify recipe patterns to reuse throughout the rest of the config. This is useful if you're going to use a pattern more than once.

Chests

In chests, you may specify the custom chests that you want. The name of the configuration section (inside the chests section) is the id of your chest.

Node	Required	Default Value	Explanation
name	true		The display name of your chest (color codes with & or § are allowed)
permission	false		The permission required to craft and place down this chest
id or type	false	minecraft:chest	The item & block type of the chest. See here for info about the item type format.
lore	false		The lore of the chest item
slots or rows	true		The amount of slots (if not a multiple of 9, the user will be prevented from using the slots at the end of the row) or rows in the size of this chest
recipe	false		A recipe that can be used to craft this chest, use recipes for multiple recipes. See this page for recipe format.
recipes	false		Recipes that can be used for this chest, use recipe when only doing one recipe. see this page for recipe format.
whitelist	false		A list of item types (id strings) that this chest is only allowed store. (A defined whitelist will take precedence over a blacklist)
blacklist	false		A list of item types (id strings) that this chest is not allowed to store.
blast-proof	false	false	Whether this chest will be immune from explosions (from things like TNT and creepers).
require-top-clearance	false	true	Whether this chest requires the block above to be not occluding (solid), to be able to opened
allow-hoppers	false	true	Whether to allow hoppers to work properly with this custom chest
