"dorios"	UtilityCraft Complex item IO: insert every configured input face, drain every configured output face (helper must be dorios:container). The Interface’s facing face is only for pairing — it is not the insert/drain face
anything else	register fails (unknown_slot_protocol)

Faces you did not configure do nothing. If Complex or the helper is missing, DNS skips that insert or drain and stays paired.

inv: "block" is a vanilla-style block inventory. It is not the dorios protocol. "dorios" always uses the helper entity, even if you also set inv: "block".
