0.1.3 (nine player-reported bugs fixed)
A bug-fix release: nine things players reported, here and in YouTube comments.
- Your gun colours show in third person. V1's body held a plain white gun in F5; it now has the same colours as in first person.
- Shulker bullets hit V1 (and make it float, as they do in Minecraft).
- Far-away ULTRAKILL enemies go to sleep. More than about 70 blocks away (or 40 up or down), the hidden ULTRAKILL side doesn't
have Minecraft's blocks, so enemies there could see and shoot you through hills and walls. Now they wait where they are, out of
sight and doing nothing, until you come back, like Minecraft's own mobs in unloaded chunks. - The Whiplash stuns Minecraft's mobs as it does light enemies in ULTRAKILL: a pulled mob can't attack until a moment after it lands.
- Splatters. A light mob (about zombie-sized or smaller) knocked high (a Knuckleblaster punch off a ledge, a slam onto one in the air) that lands hard is splattered,
with ULTRAKILL's gore and SPLATTERED style. Not into water or onto soft blocks like slime, hay or beds. - Rockets at mobs in the air make ULTRAKILL's big red explosion, and kills in the air score ULTRAKILL's air bonuses (FIREWORKS,
AIRSHOT, JUGGLE, AIR SLAM). - Impact frames freeze Minecraft too (the Jackhammer, parries and so on), not only ULTRAKILL.
- Falling into the void no longer makes the game jerk V1 back over and over: V1 falls and dies, as Steve would.
- Conduction works on Minecraft's mobs: electricity through the nails in a mob lights them up and they burst out (CONDUCTOR).
- No more odd box around burning mobs. Minecraft draws their flames instead; they still burn and take ULTRAKILL's fire damage.
Download both files, and update both: the two halves of 0.1.3 only work with each other, not with 0.1.2's.
ukpassthrough-0.1.3.jar: the Minecraft half. It goes in Minecraft'smodsfolder.UKPassthrough.dll: the ULTRAKILL half. It goes inBepInEx\plugins.
Updating: delete the old ukpassthrough-0.1.x.jar from the mods folder before adding the new one (with both there,
Minecraft won't start), and replace UKPassthrough.dll.
You need: Windows, Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3 with Fabric Loader 0.19.3+ and Fabric API, and ULTRAKILL (Steam) with BepInEx 5,
on a save that has finished the tutorial and has the Revolver (the first pistol). It's single-player only.
The step-by-step install, the keys and the known issues are in the README.
This is an early release, so expect bugs. Please report them as an issue with both games' logs.
No game files or decompiled code are included. It was written with Claude Code.
0.1.2 (general stutter fix, bosses no longer disappear)
A bug-fix and performance release.
Less stuttering, especially in the Nether. The hidden ULTRAKILL side rebuilt Minecraft's terrain far more often and more
slowly than it needed to, every time new terrain came into range, and soul sand (and mud, snow layers, farmland) made it much
heavier. Building is now much cheaper and the heaviest part runs in the background: flying through the Nether, it went from up to
a third of ULTRAKILL's time to about 3%. Boss fights in rough terrain also lost a hitch of up to 54 ms every 2 seconds.
ULTRAKILL bosses no longer disappear. They fell out of the world wherever Minecraft hadn't sent the blocks under them: when you
went far away, when they were far below you, or when they teleported to you before the ground there loaded. Minos Prime's mid-air
beam and Sisyphus Prime's dive could also send them to the bottom of the world when they hit open sky. Now the blocks around
ULTRAKILL's enemies are sent too, an enemy waits in place until its ground arrives, and bosses follow you through Nether portals.
Also fixed: an error when an ULTRAKILL enemy went into lava.
Download both files, and update both: the two halves of 0.1.2 only work with each other, not with 0.1.1's.

0.1.1 (boss stutter fix)
A bug-fix release.
Fixed: the small, regular freezes (one every second or two) while fighting ULTRAKILL bosses such as V2 and Gabriel. The game
was rebuilding its enemies' walking map after every explosion and reading far more terrain than needed. Now it only does this for
enemies that walk, and only around you and them. Those hitches dropped from up to 100 ms to about 5 ms.
