FootageFlow v0.9.0 — Research & Culture Update

FootageFlow now combines media discovery with a local project research workspace.

Added

  • Media / Research / All search modes
  • Wikipedia, Wikidata, The Met, Art Institute of Chicago, Crossref, and GDELT research discovery
  • Project Research Notes with My Note, tags, citations, refresh, and Find Related Media
  • Source-confirmed Add as Media for public-domain Met/AIC records that include a public original-image URL
  • Research References and Combined Project Report exports
  • Portable project schema 2 with research references and backward-compatible schema 1 import

Important limits

  • Research records are references, not pre-cleared media.
  • Crossref provides metadata; FootageFlow does not download restricted paper full text.
  • GDELT is discovery-only; FootageFlow does not download or clear news articles or images.
  • A Wikipedia preview must be traced to its specific Wikimedia Commons file and license before reuse.
  • Museum rights are shown only when provider metadata explicitly indicates them.
