For Photographers
Culvia is designed around the working rhythm of a photographer after a shoot: get through the full set, find the stronger frames, make final human decisions, and prepare the result for editing or delivery.

Use the viewer for careful decisions: inspect the active photo, compare thumbnails, assign manual status, and accept useful model suggestions.

Use the photo wall for fast scanning, batch comparison, and quick pick/hold/reject decisions across the filtered set.

Detailed scoring and large-model comments stay below the thumbnail strip so the right-side operation panel remains focused.
- Fast folder-based photo review
- Thumbnail-based browsing without loading full-resolution files in the photo wall
- Local aesthetic and technical scoring
- Optional large-model critique for image quality, composition, retouching notes, and shooting suggestions
- Manual picks, holds, rejects, star ratings, and color labels
- Filtering and sorting by recommendation, technical quality, large-model review, manual status, and color label
- Export of picked photos or review data
- Add the shoot folder.
- Let Culvia scan the source and build thumbnails.
- Run local scoring first for a quick baseline.
- Optionally run large-model review on candidates that need deeper critique.
- Use the viewer for careful decisions and the photo wall for comparison.
- Keep manual status as the final decision.
- Export picks or review data.
Scores are meant to help with sorting, comparison, and explanation. They are not meant to replace the photographer's taste.
Use them as signals:
- High score: worth reviewing early.
- Mixed score: check the image manually; it may have artistic intent the model misses.
- Low technical score: inspect sharpness, exposure, or visible artifacts.
- Large-model critique: useful for explanation, retouching notes, and second-pass review.
Culvia is best used before final editing. It is not a replacement for Lightroom, Capture One, Photoshop, or delivery galleries. It is a local curation layer that helps you decide what deserves the next stage.
