Chlorine and Redox alerts now match the PoolPilot app's gauges on VIOLET / BADU Blue controllers. Electrolysis pools, and Redox pools that report chlorine limits, now get chlorine alerts when the value leaves the controller's warn limits. Default alerts ("bad" only) change only in that types that used to have no band can now alert.

If you enabled "Warnung wenn nicht OK" (warn notifications) on a rule, the warn traffic changes:

  • Liquid-chlorine pools with an ideal range: the OK zone is now the controller's ideal range instead of the setpoint ± 0.5 mg/l. That range is usually narrower (on the vendor demo 0.25–0.65 instead of 0.15–1.1), so expect more warn notifications.
  • Electrolysis pools: the cell's warn limits can be extreme. The vendor demo ships -20 / 110 mg/l, which the vendor GUI allows and the controller itself grades against. With limits like that, "bad" is practically unreachable, and almost any value outside the ideal range raises a warn notification.
  • Types that have warn limits but no setpoint or ideal range: the whole warn window now counts as OK, so these types can no longer warn. A rule that was latched in "warn" before the update recovers after the usual debounce. It sends a recovery notification if the rule has recovery notifications enabled.
