poolpilot-relay v0.10.0
Release note
Household roles on the relay. The relay now records whether each paired phone belongs to the household owner or to a member, and enforces it.
- Members can still operate the pool (readings, controller web session) and leave the household themselves.
- Owner only: household-wide relay settings (controllers, alert rules, poll interval, updates, factory and household reset) and removing other devices. A member's phone gets
403 owner_requiredfor these. PoolPilot app versions with matching support show "ask the owner". - Phones paired before this version are classified once on upgrade. Any device that cannot be proven to have joined by invite is treated as owner, so no existing owner is locked out. An owner can re-invite a phone to make it a member.
Configurable poll interval. The household owner can set how often the relay reads the controller, from 3 s to 10 min, in the PoolPilot app's Relay settings or via PUT /v1/poll-interval.
- The value is applied immediately, survives restarts, and overrides
POLL_INTERVAL. DELETE /v1/poll-intervalreturns to the default.- A slower interval also means slower alerts and all-clears (debounce counts polls), and slower alert retries and cloud sync. Keep any stale-data window longer than the interval.

poolpilot-relay v0.9.2
Chlorine and Redox alerts now match the PoolPilot app's gauges on VIOLET / BADU Blue controllers. Electrolysis pools, and Redox pools that report chlorine limits, now get chlorine alerts when the value leaves the controller's warn limits. Default alerts ("bad" only) change only in that types that used to have no band can now alert.
If you enabled "Warnung wenn nicht OK" (warn notifications) on a rule, the warn traffic changes:
- Liquid-chlorine pools with an ideal range: the OK zone is now the controller's ideal range instead of the setpoint ± 0.5 mg/l. That range is usually narrower (on the vendor demo 0.25–0.65 instead of 0.15–1.1), so expect more warn notifications.
- Electrolysis pools: the cell's warn limits can be extreme. The vendor demo ships -20 / 110 mg/l, which the vendor GUI allows and the controller itself grades against. With limits like that, "bad" is practically unreachable, and almost any value outside the ideal range raises a warn notification.
- Types that have warn limits but no setpoint or ideal range: the whole warn window now counts as OK, so these types can no longer warn. A rule that was latched in "warn" before the update recovers after the usual debounce. It sends a recovery notification if the rule has recovery notifications enabled.
