I am using stacher and dont know much about this but it downloads when i connect to a VPN

One thing I noticed a little while ago is that yt-dlp's TT challenge solver implementation doesn't set the {rci}={rs} cookie that gallery-dl's implementation sets sometimes. Not sure if it's relevant to this issue since I can't reproduce it, but maybe worth looking into

I have a similar problem. This is my file. ps:There is no problem with the videos on YouTube and X. But TikTok doesn't work.

If you're using a single-file executable, you can run this command:

yt-dlp --update-to bashonly/yt-dlp@tt

When you're done testing, you can get back on an official update channel by running this command:

yt-dlp --update-to nightly@latest

Or, if you installed yt-dlp using pip, you can install from the PR branch like this:

pip install --force-reinstall "yt-dlp[default,curl-cffi] @ git+https://github.com/bashonly/yt-dlp@fix/tt-rci"
