Stage: Behavioral-model released. This is a research baseline, not a fabricated chip or measured-silicon result.

  • deterministic 8 ? 8 signed fixed-point mixed-signal behavioral model;
  • declared quantization, mismatch, offset, noise, drift, clipping, ADC, and affine-calibration effects;
  • forward W?x, transpose W??g, and host-computed outer-product updates applied by digital weight reprogramming;
  • twelve-register driver contract, portable C header, synthesizable digital control shell, and explicit analog-core black-box boundary;
  • canonical synthetic receipts and cross-version verification on Python 3.11 and 3.12;
  • architecture, measurement, maturity, tapeout, grant, licensing, and contribution documentation.

  • 35 Python tests pass on Python 3.11 and 3.12;
  • 12 JSON/C/RTL register offsets and 7 JSON/C field masks align;
  • the C interface compiles with -Wall -Wextra -Werror and passes signed encode/decode tests;

This release contains no verified transistor-level design, PDK implementation, physical layout, fabricated silicon, measured speed, accuracy, energy, area, effective-bit result, yield result, on-chip analog weight updates, analog gradient engine, or complete training accelerator. The differential charge-domain architecture and planned 4 ? 4 characterization macro remain unverified concepts.
