Dualis 1.0.1
Dualis 1.0.1
Source and docs cleanup. Linux installers are the same builds as 1.0.0 (not rebuilt). Windows has a fresh NSIS installer from this tag. Dualis is on-device vocal and instrumental stem separation for Linux and Windows: paste a Spotify or YouTube Music link, download locally, split vocals from the mix with ONNX, and play both stems in sync.
What changed in source
- Dropped leftover Stems product ids (
dev.z3itt.stems,stems:ui,stems-build). App data stays undercom.z3itt.dualis. - README lists Windows as NSIS
.exeonly (no MSI).
Install
Windows
Download Dualis_1.0.1_x64-setup.exe and run it. WebView2 is bundled by the installer if the machine does not already have it.
AppImage (most Linux distros)
chmod +x Dualis_1.0.0_amd64.AppImage
./Dualis_1.0.0_amd64.AppImageDebian / Ubuntu
sudo dpkg -i Dualis_1.0.0_amd64.deb
sudo apt-get install -fFedora / RHEL
sudo dnf install ./dualis-1.0.0-1.x86_64.rpmLinux DEB/RPM need GTK 3 and WebKitGTK 4.1 on the host. The AppImage bundles most runtime libraries.
Highlights
- Spotify and YouTube Music (and playlist) paste ingest
- Spotify tracks resolve on YouTube as title + artist search
- Local ONNX vocal isolation (Kim Vocal 2 by default)
- Dual-stem player: original, vocals, instrumental
- Shuffle, queue loop, and song loop
- WebGPU (Linux) / DirectML (Windows) when available, CPU fallback on failure
