ESP-IDF v5.5 is now the canonical build system; PlatformIO has been removed.

- Plain ESP-IDF v5.5 flow, variant-aware for all 4 production targets, with per-variant sdkconfig defaults.
- Canonical IDF layout (firmware/ flattened into repo root; src/+include/ merged into main/).
- Managed components replace vendored AsyncTCP + ESPAsyncWebServer; relative-path dependencies.lock with CI guard.
- USB-Serial-JTAG console; PSRAM enabled.
- CI: full 4-variant matrix on PRs, release-publish on tags; Forgejo + GitHub aligned on espressif/idf:v5.5.
- Host unit tests via plain CMake + ctest (Unity).
- Docs refreshed for the IDF layout; ESP-IDF VSCode extension replaces the PlatformIO recommendation.
- WebUI data submodule bumped to v3 head; nostr consumes ws-node kind 30078 d-tag feed.
