Update the phone app without uninstalling it to preserve its recorded history and settings. Close the previous Windows monitor, unpack the entire ZIP and run BMS Data Platform.exe. The Windows server uses port 4174; another copy or a development server on this port must be closed first.

• Built-in user guide in English, Ukrainian and Russian: 38 feature descriptions, benefits, instructions and limitations. Open it from Settings or the book button in the header. Includes search, a clickable catalogue and expandable sections; available without the phone or Internet.
• Period summary: recorded charged/discharged Ah and kWh, peak current, temperatures, balancing duration and BMS connection interruptions. Observed duration and approximate-result labels explain incomplete coverage.
• Period comparison: compare the selected battery with a previous equal-length period or custom dates, including comparable cell observations and available pulse-test results.
• Cells at battery limits: identify repeatedly limiting cells and inspect the recorded current, SOC, temperature and accumulated pack Ah.
• Charge/discharge shutdown circumstances: preceding and disabled-MOS snapshots, cell voltages, current, temperatures and alarm mask, with a shortcut to the relevant chart interval.
• Balancing-session results: compare median imbalance before/after suitable sessions; incomplete and non-comparable sessions are identified.
• Cell deviation trend: compare stable observations over multiple days under similar load, SOC and temperature.
• Idle cell-voltage drift: observe absolute and pack-relative voltage changes after a configurable settling period, with balancing off and sufficiently low current.
• Diagnostic data quality: coverage, displayed sampling intervals, BMS outages, missing inputs and limitations caused by downsampling.
• Clearer component compatibility warnings: show the detected phone/desktop versions and the filenames of the compatible update package. The phone also receives the desktop version during exchange.
• Refined history calculations, validation and responsive layouts; the new diagnostic sections can be hidden individually in Settings or directly from History.

Important limits

Ordinary monitoring does not change BMS protection settings. The previously available active resistance test remains experimental and requires separate authorisation on the phone. Its 30-minute permission window is not the interruption duration; Charge MOS is interrupted only briefly. Supervise tests and consider their effect on your system.

SOC comes from the BMS and may drift. Cell capacity, filling, resistance and drift are estimates/observations, not certified measurements or automatic fault diagnoses. Retrospective threshold analysis can use currently available BMS settings rather than the historical settings at the time of recording. Sparse or missing history limits conclusions. Balancing comparisons do not prove causation or measure balancer efficiency.

Android 8.0+, Windows x64. Compatibility depends on JK/Jikong model and firmware. Existing illustrated PDF manuals describe 0.7.35; use the new built-in guide for current features.

Verification: 134 desktop tests passed, TypeScript/production build and Windows packaging succeeded. Android release assembly and debug unit tests passed; the APK version and release certificate were checked. These checks do not constitute validation on every supported BMS model.

Важные ограничения

Обычный мониторинг не меняет защитные настройки BMS. Ранее добавленный активный тест сопротивления остаётся экспериментальным и отдельно разрешается на телефоне. Окно разрешения 30 минут — не длительность отключения: Charge MOS переключается кратковременно. Пользователь должен контролировать тест и учитывать его влияние на систему.

SOC берётся из BMS и может иметь дрейф. Ёмкость, наполнение, сопротивление и дрейф ячеек — оценки/наблюдения, не сертифицированные измерения и не автоматический диагноз. Для старой истории могут использоваться доступные сейчас пороги BMS, а не настройки в момент записи. Пробелы и разреженные данные ограничивают выводы. Сравнение балансировки не доказывает причину изменения и не измеряет эффективность балансировщика.

Android 8.0+, Windows x64. Совместимость зависит от модели и прошивки JK/Jikong. Иллюстрированные PDF относятся к 0.7.35; актуальные функции описаны в новом встроенном руководстве.

Проверки: 134 теста компьютерной части прошли, TypeScript/production-сборка и упаковка Windows успешны. Release-сборка Android и debug unit-тесты прошли; версия и релизная подпись APK проверены. Это не означает проверку на каждой модели BMS.

Install both files from this release: Windows monitor 0.7.38 and Android gateway 0.4.11. These versions use a compatibility check; an older component can show an incompatibility warning instead of displaying misleading data. Install the APK over the existing phone app without uninstalling it, so its settings and recorded history remain in place. Unzip the Windows package completely and run BMS Data Platform.exe inside its folder. Close any previous copy first, because the local monitor uses port 4174.

Changes since the public 0.7.35 / 0.4.9 release:

• A local Batteries page keeps synchronized history separate for each BMS address. Archived batteries can be selected for analysis; a new battery is announced when first detected.
• SQL and Excel exports can include all locally stored batteries or one selected battery. The history export now includes both battery temperature sensors when available.
• The phone gateway supplies separate temperature readings, more complete history-sync metadata, and a steadier remaining-time estimate.
• The cell-voltage chart explains that curve colours identify cells; they do not indicate alarm severity. Threshold tooltips are translated and chart controls have clearer contrast.
• The password-change reminder bit (0x80000) is not treated as a battery fault.
• The existing active charge-pulse resistance diagnostic remains experimental. It is not part of ordinary read-only monitoring and must be explicitly armed on the phone; it only proceeds under its charge-current and safety conditions. It does not change BMS protection thresholds.

The Android APK is signed with the release certificate. Android 8.0+ and Windows x64 are supported. The illustrated manuals were written for 0.7.35 and may not yet describe every new control; use these notes for changes since then. The external read-only monitoring API remains available on a trusted local network.

Validation: Windows TypeScript production build and 59 unit tests passed; Android unit tests passed, and the APK version and signature were checked.

Update both the Windows monitor and Android gateway for the complete connection-history fixes. Install the APK over the existing app; do not uninstall it if you want to keep phone history and settings.

Complete illustrated manuals are attached to this release: English PDF and Russian PDF.

• History lines and shaded areas now break across detected telemetry gaps instead of drawing a misleading bridge, including bidirectional current and power charts.
• Bluetooth loss/restoration and phone-gateway network loss/restoration have separate square icons. Hover for the event time and connection type.
• Manual BMS disconnection on the phone is recorded; restoration is confirmed by a valid telemetry sample. Previously unrecorded events cannot be recreated retroactively.
• Connection-history refresh continues when telemetry stops. Events after the newest telemetry point are included. Existing history remains available when a background refresh fails.
• Missing network intervals are filled only if real recorded samples are subsequently synchronized from the phone. A network outage does not necessarily mean the phone stopped recording BMS data.
• An SSE reconnect no longer immediately produces a false network-loss event while HTTP polling is healthy.
• Android includes a read-only preview API for external monitoring: /api/monitoring/v1/snapshot. See API documentation. It requires no clientApi parameter. Use only on a trusted local network; the gateway has no HTTPS or authentication. No ready-made Zabbix template is included yet.

Normal monitoring does not change BMS protection settings. Existing separately armed active diagnostics are unchanged. Short gaps may be less visible at coarse time scales. Network events are recorded by the running monitor; they do not reconstruct periods when it was closed.

Validation: 58 desktop tests passed, TypeScript and production build passed; Android unit tests and compilation passed.

• Потеря/восстановление Bluetooth и недоступность/восстановление телефона по сети отмечаются разными квадратными значками. При наведении доступны время и тип события.
• Ручное отключение BMS на телефоне записывается в журнал. Восстановление подтверждается получением корректного измерения. Ранее не записанные события задним числом восстановить нельзя.
• Журнал обновляется и при остановке телеметрии; события после последней точки больше не теряются. Ошибка фонового обновления не скрывает уже загруженную историю.
• Пропуск после потери Wi-Fi заполняется только реальными записями, полученными при последующей синхронизации с телефоном. Телефон может продолжать запись BMS без связи с компьютером.
• Перезапуск потока SSE больше не считается немедленным обрывом сети, если обычные HTTP-запросы продолжают работать.
• В Android добавлен предварительный API только для чтения: /api/monitoring/v1/snapshot. Описание API. Параметр clientApi не нужен. Используйте только доверенную локальную сеть: HTTPS и авторизации у шлюза нет. Готового шаблона Zabbix пока нет.

Updated build (September 5): fixed exiting fullscreen when switching the history period. The expanded chart now stays open while loading, including when the selected range is empty or loading fails. Download the Windows archive again if you installed the earlier 0.7.34 build. Android Gateway 0.4.8 is unchanged.

This maintenance release improves time-range switching on the History page.

• Selecting 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 1 year now immediately removes the previous range from the screen.
• A clear loading state is displayed while the selected history range is read from the synchronized local archive.
• Shorter periods use an optimized number of chart points, reducing redraw time while retaining useful detail.
• All history charts, including fullscreen charts, use the same period-switching behavior.
• The package includes the unchanged Android Gateway 0.4.8.

The application remains local-first. The phone stores BMS history and the Windows monitor synchronizes only the missing records.

This release adds a controlled active diagnostic for tracking cell resistance over the battery lifetime.

• The phone can briefly switch JK BMS Charge MOS off and restore it while a stable positive charging current is present.
• Cell resistance is calculated independently on the switch-off and return-current edges. Matching edges are averaged; inconsistent values are rejected.
• The function requires a temporary 30-minute physical permission on the phone, safe and stable conditions, and explicit confirmation on the computer. The actual interruption lasts only a few seconds.
• A new Details section explains the complete measurement algorithm step by step.
• Every completed test is stored permanently on the phone for the selected BMS.
• The desktop compares the newest test with the first and previous measurements made at similar SOC, temperature and charge current.
• Possible cell anomalies are detected relative to the pack median, reducing false warnings caused by a common temperature or measurement shift.
• Fast background history synchronisation no longer flashes a banner; progress appears only when synchronisation takes longer than five seconds. Errors remain immediate.

Normal monitoring remains read-only. The active test never changes protection thresholds, but it does control Charge MOS briefly. Stay beside the battery and charger while it runs. This is a comparative diagnostic, not a laboratory DCIR measurement or an automatic fault diagnosis.
