LinRDP has been renamed to Fjern. The executable and application crate are now named fjern; the protocol crate intentionally remains linrdp-proto.

Existing users are migrated automatically on first startup: valid profiles.json and known_hosts.json files are imported from ~/.config/linrdp when ~/.config/fjern does not already exist. The legacy directory is left untouched, and existing Fjern state always wins.

  • Native Linux RDP and VNC client for Wayland
  • Validated against Windows RDP and WayVNC on Omarchy/Hyprland
  • Dynamic RDP resolution and correct local VNC scaling/input mapping
  • Keyboard-first TUI with arrow-key navigation
