Supported platforms

POÄNG is tested and supported on the following platforms:
- Mac OS X v10.6 "Snow Leopard," 64-bit Intel
- Windows 7 Professional, 32-bit Intel
- Ubuntu Linux 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat," 32-bit Intel
It is expected to run satisfactorily on any of the supported desktop platforms for Adobe AIR 2.5.
As of version 10.10, Ubuntu's Unity window manager for netbooks overrides window positioning in ways that are not desirable and beyond the control of the application. Ubuntu Netbook Remix is supported, but I recommend logging in to a "Desktop Session" rather than a "Netbook Session" when running POÄNG. The Metacity window manager used for desktop sessions does not have these issues.
Adobe AIR for Linux seems to be less mature than AIR for Windows or Mac OS X, and tends to exhibit bugs that are not present on the other platforms.
