Quran Caption v3.6.62

This update improves manual subtitle creation, expands the QuranReflect workflow, adds in-app announcements, and improves analytics and small-screen usability.

Manual Subtitles

  • Added persistent collapsible controls for manual captioning on desktop

    Users who do not know or use keyboard shortcuts can now add and edit subtitles directly through visible controls.

  • Added help explanations for these manual controls

    More details are available through the help icon.

QuranReflect

  • Added direct links after saving a reflection

    After successfully saving or publishing a reflection, Quran Caption now lets you directly open:

    • the saved Quran.com note
    • the published QuranReflect post

  • Added a “Do not show again” option for the reflection pop-up

    Users can now permanently dismiss the reflection prompt if they do not want to see it again.

Announcements

  • Added admin-managed launch messages

    Important announcements can now be displayed directly inside Quran Caption when the app starts.

Subtitles UI

  • Fixed the surah picker remaining focused after selecting a surah.

  • Fixed the ayah picker overflowing on narrow screens.

Analytics

  • Expanded anonymous product analytics across desktop workflows, exports, AI features, and editing actions.

    This gives better insight into how Quran Caption is used while keeping collected data more limited and privacy-conscious.
