Quran Caption v3.6.73

This update adds custom project categories, 122 calligraphic Basmala styles, Malayalam translation support, longer project names, and several fixes for local AI segmentation and export.

Project Organization

  • Added custom project categories

    You can now create as many project categories as you want from Settings and use them to better organize your projects.

  • Increased the maximum project name length from 50 to 150 characters

    Long export paths are now automatically shortened when necessary to avoid filesystem issues.

Basmala Styles

  • Added 122 selectable calligraphic Basmala styles

    When a Basmala is present in the project, you can now choose between 122 different calligraphic designs from:

    Styles → Arabic → General Styles

  • Each Basmala style includes a preview to make selection easier.

Translations

  • Added the Quran Lalithasaram Malayalam translation for local use.

AI Segmentation

  • Fixed the installation of the local Quran Karim Words Alignment model.

Export

  • Fixed an issue where export capture windows could interfere with the audio used by the editor preview

    Export workers will no longer seek or unload the shared preview audio during export.

Arabic Text

  • Improved the internal IndoPak text handling to keep subtitle text more consistent across the project.

Internal Improvements

  • Fixed Svelte state and dependency warnings.

  • Restored accurate analytics tracking for the exact translation edition being added.
