Thank you for choosing GhostPress. We believe that your data is yours alone. GhostPress is designed from the ground up to protect your privacy and ensure that you have complete control over your images.
This Privacy Policy explains how GhostPress ("the App") handles your data.
GhostPress is built entirely around local, on-device processing. All of the app’s features—including AI smart cropping, image compression, format conversion, and metadata stripping—are performed locally directly on your Apple device.
We do not have servers, and your images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any external servers or third-party services.
We believe in strict data minimization.
- No Personal Data Collected: GhostPress does not require an account to use, and we do not collect, store, or share your personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number).
- No Analytics or Telemetry: We do not embed third-party analytics trackers, crash reporters, or advertising frameworks that secretly monitor your usage behaviors.
To function, GhostPress requires access to your device's Photo Library or files. This access is strictly used to select the photos you wish to edit, crop, resize, or strip metadata from.
- All processing happens locally on your device.
- We do not read, transmit, or share your photos.
- GhostPress can only write back to your photo library or save to your files when you explicitly instruct it to via the Export function.
GhostPress offers premium features unlocked via Apple’s native App Store infrastructure (StoreKit).
- All payment processing is securely handled by Apple.
- We do not process, receive, or store any of your credit card details, billing address, or payment information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and, if required, provide a prominent notice within the App. Since we do not collect personal information, we cannot notify you via email.
