This release strengthens durable background execution and completion delivery for OpenAI Codex CLI.

Highlights

  • A detached supervisor detects unexpected worker exit and records terminal failure.
  • Commands and logs remain independent of the disposable tmux viewer.
  • Cross job locking serializes simultaneous TUI completion prompts.
  • Live log streaming, partial write handling, fsync checks, disk full detection, and worker time path validation improve durability.
  • Anchored success markers now match complete log lines after earlier output.
  • The automated suite contains 49 tests and enforces at least 80 percent branch coverage across Python 3.10 through 3.14.
