DARB v0.11.1
- Code style only (the lint check failed on 0.11.0): long lines wrapped; no change in behaviour.
DARB v0.11.0
- Home Assistant's floors and areas now go to DARB as rooms -- when HA starts, on every
full update, and the moment you add, rename or remove one. DARB keeps its own rooms beside
them (names follow HA; DARB's shapes and zones are never touched; an area HA removes is kept
and marked). A DARB speaker or robot belongs to one of these rooms, so "turn off the lights"
said in the living room means the living room's lights.
DARB v0.10.6
- After Home Assistant starts, the exposed devices are sent to DARB again at 1 and 5
minutes: slow integrations (cloud, Zigbee, Tuya) were still adding entities when the
first lists went, and DARB briefly knew 23 of 226. (The hub now also refuses to let a
much smaller list wipe what it knows unless a second list confirms it.)
DARB v0.10.5
- The opener guard reads "garage door" / "garage opener", not "garage" alone: a switch
named for a place ("Garage Basement Do Not Disturb") is not an opener.
DARB v0.10.4
- Security: a switch, button, helper or script named for a garage door, gate, door,
lock or alarm (e.g. a "Garage Door" relay) is now treated like a lock -- opening
it needs the robot (face + PIN) or the Darb app (signed in + PIN); HA voice can't.
Before, only locks, alarms and covers with a garage/gate/door class were guarded,
so a relay with no device class could be opened by any voice.
DARB v0.10.3
- Security: an exposed script whose name opens the house (open, unlock,
disarm, garage, gate, door…) is refused for a voice DARB can't identify. HA
offers each script as its own tool with no arguments, so the device checks
never saw what it touched. The hub refuses these too; this is the second layer.
DARB v0.10.2
- Locking a lock, closing a garage door or gate, and arming an alarm are allowed
from HA voice: making the house safer needs no check. Opening, unlocking and
disarming are still refused here -- they need the robot (face + PIN) or the
Darb app (signed in + PIN).
DARB v0.10.1
- "All the lights" always means every exposed light, even when a device is
named "Lights".
DARB v0.10.0
- Areas. "Turn off the living room lights" turns off every exposed light in
HA's Living Room area; "turn off the kitchen" everything DARB may change there;
"all the lights" every exposed light. Area aliases count too. - Names match without caring about spaces or case ("livingroom" = "Living Room").
- Device actions DARB sends from the app (not only from HA's own voice) find the
device or area the same way -- before, they needed the exact entity id.
DARB v0.9.1
- Sends the exposed devices to the hub again once Home Assistant has finished
starting: at start-up only the devices already loaded were sent (9 of 21 here). - Voice plumbing exposed to Assist (the wake word engine and the like) is not
treated as a device.
