Community Projects
Community-built projects that work with WashData or offer another way to do something WashData does. Each is built and supported by its own author: report bugs and ask questions in that project's tracker, not WashData's.

Maintainer: @iluebbe · Type: Custom integration (HACS default) · License: MIT · Relation: Works with WashData
A household maintenance tracker. Tasks run on time (fixed intervals or patterns like "first Saturday of the month") or on usage from any sensor: runtime hours, counters, thresholds or state changes. It adds notifications, cost and history tracking, attachments, a spare-parts inventory, QR-code quick actions and schedules that adapt to your real intervals.
With WashData: it recognises a WashData appliance and offers three tasks out of the box,
driven by WashData's cycle counter, sensor.<name>_cycle_count:
| Task | Every |
|---|---|
| Descaling | 30 cycles |
| Filter Cleaning | 50 cycles |
| Clean Tub | 100 cycles |
The counter only ever rises: deleting a cycle record does not lower it.
WashData also has its own simple maintenance reminders and a "Maintenance due" binary sensor; see Panel-Walkthrough.
Maintainer: Blacky (@Blackshome) · Type: Automation blueprint · Relation: Alternative
A configurable Home Assistant blueprint (nothing to install) that watches a power sensor and notifies you when an appliance starts, runs and finishes. Detection uses start and end power levels with delays, a dead zone for mid-cycle lulls and a repeat check before "finished" fires.
It can also track energy, cost, runtime and cycle count in helpers, show status through a dropdown helper, run your own actions at start, end or on a watchdog, limit alerts by time or presence, and remind you until the laundry is emptied. Notification options cover iOS and Android in depth.
Compared to WashData: lighter. It tells you "started" and "finished", with no program recognition, learning or time remaining, but needs no integration. Good enough if a start and finish ping is all you want, and fine on a second appliance next to WashData.
Discussion: Blueprints Exchange
Open a Discussion or an issue with the link, the maintainer, one or two sentences on what it does, and its category. Self-nominations are welcome. It must be public, free, related to Home Assistant appliance monitoring, and maintained.
Categories we collect: maintenance reminders, notifications and alerts, dashboards and cards, appliance-native integrations (manufacturer cloud or local APIs, no plug needed), energy and cost tracking, cycle detection alternatives, tools and scripts.
- Notifications-and-Events: WashData's own notifications, events and automation templates.
- Community-Store: share and adopt appliance setups with other WashData users.
- Matrix / Element chat: questions, tips and discussion.
