Effects

Opiates cause pain to go down faster and nulifies a precentage of pain on each limb. They also decrease the consiousness.

Withdrawal

If any opiates are in ypur system the opiate tolerance increases slowly. If tolerance exceeda the opioids, you enter a withdrawal. At high enough withdrawal it will cause brain damage.
