Troubleshooting
- Confirm the server URL includes any reverse-proxy path prefix.
- Verify the account can browse albums and songs in Navidrome.
- Run a fresh scan from Studio's Navidrome/Subsonic screen.
- Check that the remote source folder is selected in the main Library.
Artist artwork is fetched in a paced background queue so Studio does not overload Navidrome or public metadata services. Keep Studio open briefly after a large first scan. A later scan reuses successful cached images and retries temporary failures.
If an artist still has no image, confirm Navidrome exposes cover art for that artist. You can always select a custom artist image in Studio; custom images have permanent priority over downloaded artwork.
Refresh the remote library before refreshing playlists. Studio can only attach playlist entries to tracks already returned by the server scan. Also verify that the playlist is visible to the connected Navidrome account.
- Download the current
studio-windows-setup.exefrom the latest release. - Close any running Studio instance before retrying the installer.
- Avoid moving files out of an installed application's directory manually; use the Velopack installer for upgrades.
- If Windows reports a signature problem, re-download the installer and compare the SHA-256 digest shown in GitHub's release asset metadata.
The current macOS artifact is not notarized. Right-click studio.app, choose Open, and confirm the launch through macOS's normal Gatekeeper dialog.
Install the distribution equivalents of libkeybinder-3.0 and libayatana-appindicator3. If the terminal reports another missing shared library, install the package providing that library and retry.
