The AXE5-GoldenEagle development board is shipped with a default power-on "Blinky LED" demonstration. Follow the instructions listed below to view the demonstration.
The following components are required for the demo:
- AXE5-Eagle (TEI0185) development board,
- 12VDC 40W power supply
Depending on the kit revision, additional components may need to be obtained. Please click on this link to review.
The MSEL2 and MSEL1 DIP switches need to be set to the ON position (left) for Boot from QSPI configuration.
Apply power to the board. There are four RGB LEDs placed in the four corners of the board. When power is applied they will begin flashing.
The brightness of the LEDs can be modified.
- Press FPGAPB2 to decrease the brightness
- Press FPGAPB3 to increase the brightness
