Modifying the AD7124 Registers

The AD7124's internal registers determine the gain, channels selected, output data rate, filters and other parameters.

Note: This step is optional. Care must be taken when modifying registers to make sure inputs are not stressed beyond limits and nothing is damaged. Refer to AD7124 datasheet for register settings, Electrical Characteristics/Absolute Maximums, etc.

If you would like to modify these settings, for example in order to connect other sensors, follow these steps:

Open the Notebook

1. With Jupyter Notebook running, click on 'arrow-safari' to navigate to the location of Safari_IPython_Modifying_Registers.ipynb.

2. Click the filename Safari_IPython_Modifying_Registers.ipynb to launch the notebook.

   • The notebook should open in a new tab Note: If you are unable to locate the files you downloaded/cloned earlier please follow the instructions here to change the starting directory of Jupyter.

3. Follow the instructions inside the notebook.
