What changed
- Windows flashing now fails closed on mixed-result writes and safely detaches completed media without destructive finalization.
- Windows device discovery now falls back to PowerShell when the native descriptor query cannot identify a device.
- General Flasher no longer presents a Raspberry Pi image path, checksum state, or retry warning before an image is selected.
- Update checks now time out cleanly instead of hanging indefinitely.
- Cross-process session locks now tolerate unrelated local-port collisions while preserving single-session safety.
- macOS release validation now checks the active Beamo Flasher or Beamo Pi product identity correctly.
Included downloads
- Beamo Flasher installers for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Beamo Pi standalone installers for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Combined Beamo Flasher + Beamo Pi suite installers for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Beamo Flasher CLI archives and checksum manifests.

Beamo Flasher + Beamo Pi 0.5.1
Beamo Flasher + Beamo Pi 0.5.1
Windows correctness fixes.
Highlights
- Fixed removable USB/SD media failing during prepare or eject on Windows.
Set-Disk -IsOfflineis not supported on removable media and previously
caused a hard failure; prepare/finalize/detach now dismount volumes and
soft-attempt offline instead of requiring it. - Hardened Windows packaging so a Beamo Pi build fails loudly if the wrong
product identity gets baked in, instead of silently shipping as
"Beamo Flasher" under the hood.
Builds are unsigned (Gatekeeper/SmartScreen will warn — on macOS, right-click → Open).

Beamo Flasher + Beamo Pi 0.5.0
Beamo Flasher + Beamo Pi 0.5.0
Comprehensive UX simplification pass.
Highlights
- Removed several rarely-used enterprise/fleet features entirely: the
source-checkout updater, team-catalog signing/import, first-boot
network validation, and the physical slot map/throughput tuner UI.
Built-in catalog, favorites, URL+SHA256 flashing, first-boot
customization, and the auto-throttle scheduler are all unaffected. - The main flash path now requires far fewer decisions: verify mode and
retries default from Settings with one collapsed "Options for this
run" override panel, image selection shows one unified status block,
start-flow problems surface as a single list, and confirmations,
banners, and update controls are each consolidated to one place. - The two overlapping "find the broken drive" flows are now a single
guided drive-checkup overlay.
Builds are unsigned (Gatekeeper/SmartScreen will warn — on macOS, right-click → Open).
