CeloHT Ambassador Program

Empowering local leaders to expand Web3 education, financial inclusion, and community impact.


Overview

The CeloHT Ambassador Program recognizes passionate community members who actively represent CeloHT in their local communities and help grow the ecosystem.

Ambassadors are trusted leaders who educate, connect, and inspire others while promoting the values of openness, transparency, and collaboration.


Mission

The Ambassador Program aims to:

  • Expand Web3 education.
  • Increase financial inclusion.
  • Promote the adoption of CELO and cUSD.
  • Support local communities.
  • Encourage open-source contributions.
  • Build strong regional and global partnerships.

Responsibilities

Ambassadors are expected to:

  • Organize educational workshops.
  • Introduce newcomers to the Celo ecosystem.
  • Promote responsible blockchain adoption.
  • Support community events.
  • Create educational content.
  • Assist with translations.
  • Help onboard contributors.
  • Share community feedback.
  • Represent CeloHT professionally.

Eligibility

Anyone may apply to become an ambassador if they:

  • Support the mission of CeloHT.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
  • Actively contribute to the community.
  • Communicate respectfully.
  • Follow the Code of Conduct.
  • Are willing to help others learn.

Technical experience is beneficial but not required.


Recognition

Outstanding ambassadors may receive:

  • Public recognition.
  • Official Ambassador badge.
  • Speaking opportunities.
  • Leadership opportunities.
  • Early access to selected community initiatives.
  • Invitations to represent CeloHT at events.

Recognition is based on contribution, consistency, and positive community impact.


Code of Conduct

All ambassadors must follow:

  • CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md
  • COMMUNITY.md
  • ETHICS.md

Failure to uphold these standards may result in suspension or removal from the program.


Appointment Process

Ambassadors are selected through a transparent review process based on:

  • Community involvement.
  • Educational impact.
  • Leadership.
  • Collaboration.
  • Commitment to CeloHT's mission.

Appointments are reviewed periodically.
