Appearance and camping

Feature Prerequisite Cost
Dyeing Dyed-water cauldron No permanent unlock
Glow Stitching None 1 Glow Ink Sac
Bedroll / Camping Compartment None 16 Hay Bales + 2 Tripwire Hooks + 64 Amethyst Shards
Reusable Campsite Kit Bedroll 44 Wool Blocks of one color + 3 matching Lanterns + 1 Bed + 1 Campfire (Soul Campfire, Comforting Campfire, Comforting Soul Campfire, Hearthfire Campfire, or Hearthfire Soul Campfire) + 12 Leather + 2 Tripwire Hooks

The 44 wool blocks must all be one color, and that color becomes the permanent tent and bed color. The three lanterns must all match, and that lantern becomes the tent lighting; any vanilla lantern is accepted, including every copper oxidation stage and its waxed form. Unwaxed copper keeps weathering while the camp stands, and packing up remembers the stage each lantern reached. The campfire item actually consumed becomes the permanent tent hearth. Andy's Comforting Campfires (0.1.10+) is optional: paying a Comforting Campfire or Hearthfire Campfire also links the deployed hearth to Comfort healing, runes, and its status menu; without Comforting Campfires installed, the hearth still deploys and packs up as an ordinary vanilla Campfire or Soul Campfire.
