Andy's Locks & Keys Wiki

Official player guide for Andy's Locks & Keys, a Minecraft Bedrock add-on that locks vanilla doors, trapdoors, fence gates, chests, and barrels.

Current version: 0.11.3 for Minecraft Bedrock 26.30+.

Quick start

1. Download Andys_Locks_And_Keys_0.11.3.mcaddon from the main repository.
2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock.
3. Activate Andy's Locks & Keys [BP] and confirm the linked Resource Pack is active.
4. Place a door, chest, or barrel.
5. Hold a lock item, crouch, and use it on the block.
6. A padlock appears. You are the owner.

0.11.3 adds a secure interoperability channel for Andy's Better Double Doors. Proximity still uses the same owner, key, sharing, group, public, and Redstone Allowed rules. No lock is bypassed.

When updating from an older test build, break and replace existing locked doors, then lock them again.
