Wood Sets
The pack has three wood families. Mahogany and Desert Oak grow as living trees; Rotten wood is the decayed building palette found around rotten logs and vegetation. All three can be searched by name in Creative mode.
Mahogany is the warm reddish-brown set and the main wood of the Mahogany Forest. Mahogany Saplings grow Mahogany trees and the leaves are part of the same family.

Desert Oak gives desert builds a real wood set without having to pretend acacia came from a dune. The living trees generate in dry regions and provide their own saplings and leaves.

The gate item really does use the shorter ID desert_oak_gate; that is not a typo in the table.
Rotten wood is the dark, worn-out set used by decayed logs and trees. It has all the useful construction shapes but no living leaves or sapling of its own.

All three families work with the normal plank, log, wooden stair, slab, fence, door, button and sign expectations. That matters for mixed builds and keeps them from behaving like decorative blocks that only happen to look wooden.
