World and Structures
The mod changes more than mob lists. Some additions are new places, while others are details mixed into familiar biomes so the Overworld feels a little less repetitive.
The Mahogany Forest is the surface home of Mahogany trees and Fruit Bats. It uses the warmer wood palette, hanging vegetation and the sort of dense floor detail that makes the place feel older than an ordinary forest.
Fruit Bat Caves are a mossy underground biome with larger groups of Fruit Bats. Moss, carpets, muddy or rooted patches, leaf debris and Guano-related decoration give it a much busier cave floor than vanilla stone corridors.
| Structure | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Trading Posts | Small inhabited or contested posts with loot and enemy rooms. Bandits are the main reason to approach carefully, and Rare Spices give the visit a more peaceful option. |
| Badlands Trading Posts | A dry-region version of the Trading Post. |
| Desert Ruins | Sandstone remains that fit the Gilded Sandstone and Desert Oak side of the mod. |
| Badlands Ruins | Weathered ruins placed for badlands exploration. |
| Fossil Pits | Excavation-like areas connected to Fossil Soil and the Petrified theme. |
| Jungle Temple | A separate JaizMod jungle structure, not just a renamed vanilla temple. |
Structure placement is still subject to the world seed, spacing and valid terrain. A structure not appearing near spawn does not mean it failed to load.
The Overworld additions include Mahogany and Desert Oak trees, autumn oak and birch shapes, fallen and rotten logs, rotten trees, mossy log patches, Calla Lilies, Columbine, Floral Veils, Ivy, Undergrowth, Rot Roots, large ferns and several cave-floor patches. They are intentionally scattered among matching biomes rather than confined to a single showcase area.
- Overworld: most small JaizMod animals live in forests, rivers, swamps or caves. Totem Spirits cover dry, jungle and frozen regions; Driplets and Stalagtitans belong to dripstone caves; the ocean pair lives in warm water.
- Nether: each main biome gets at least one reason to look around, with Molotov Golems in basalt deltas, Trufflers and Geyser Berries in the forest biomes, Soul Waders in Soul Sand Valleys, and Strider Hunters in Nether Wastes.
- End: End Highlands hold the dangerous and airborne group. Aeroblobs also reach the barrens and small outer islands.
The full per-creature lists are on Mobs. They are more useful than a giant spawn-weight spreadsheet during normal play.
