Items

This page covers the things that are more than ordinary building blocks. IDs are included because /give is often the quickest way to test an unfamiliar item. The Wood Sets and Blocks and Plants pages take care of the large block families.

Creature containers and spawn items

Butterfly Bottle (jaizmod:butterfly_bottle), Dragonfly Bottle (jaizmod:dragonfly_bottle), Caterpillar Bottle (jaizmod:caterpillar_bottle) and Snail Bottle (jaizmod:snail_bottle) keep the captured creature's appearance. Use an empty glass bottle directly on the animal. Bottle of Fireflies works the same way with a Firefly Swarm, but it can also be placed as a light decoration.

The mob eggs are listed beside their creatures on Mobs, with every exact ID on Commands. The one exception in appearance is the Mimic Pot (jaizmod:mimic_pot): it places a Mason Mouth but looks like the pottery it is pretending to be. Calcite Totem (jaizmobs:calcite_totem) is a second, stackable way to place a Calcite Golem.

Food from JaizMod

Item ID What it is for
Sniffer Meat jaizmod:sniffer_meat A large raw food drop from the mod's Sniffer additions.
Cooked Sniffer Meat jaizmod:cooked_sniffer_meat The much better cooked version.
Rare Spices jaizmod:rare_spices A tiny snack that may cause Nausea. More importantly, it can temporarily calm a Bandit and make it offer loot.
Gourmet Meal jaizmod:gourmet_meal A very filling meal made in chicken and rabbit versions. It has a chance to grant Regeneration.
Butterfly Chrysalis jaizmod:cocoon_block Normally left to hatch as a block. It can be eaten, but Nausea and Poison make that a bad emergency ration.

Tea

Every tea leaves the empty Tea Cup behind. An Unfired Tea Cup (jaizmod:unfired_tea_cup) is the clay stage, the Tea Cup (jaizmod:tea_cup) is the reusable vessel, and the Tea Pot is the matching placeable block.

Tea ID Result
Flower Tea jaizmod:flower_tea A normal restorative tea with a small Regeneration chance.
Herbal Tea jaizmod:herbal_tea Uses the same gentle base tea effect.
Kombucha Tea jaizmod:kombucha_tea Another ordinary base tea.

Pitcher Plant Tea jaizmod:pitcher_plant_tea Gives Resistance for one minute.
Nether Fungus Tea jaizmod:nether_fungus_tea Gives Fire Resistance for one minute.
Warped Nether Fungus Tea jaizmod:warped_nether_fungus_tea The warped version also gives Fire Resistance.
Chorus Fruit Tea jaizmod:chorus_fruit_tea Adds Levitation and then teleports the drinker around in classic chorus-fruit fashion.
Wither Rose Tea jaizmod:wither_rose_tea Hurts the drinker immediately and follows up with Hunger and Wither. This is not a health drink.
Gunpowder Green Tea jaizmod:gunpowder_green_tea The name is literal enough: drinking it causes a severe explosion-related hit.
Novel Tea jaizmod:novel_tea Another dangerous joke drink with an explosive result.

Jaiz Mobs food

Weapons and tools

Obsidian family

The three shard shapes are Obsidian Shard (jaizmod:obsidian_shard), Sharp Obsidian Shard (jaizmod:sharp_obsidian_shard) and Wedge Obsidian Shard (jaizmod:wedge_obsidian_shard). They lead into three daggers and six sword combinations:

  • jaizmod:obsidian_dagger, jaizmod:sharp_obsidian_dagger, jaizmod:wedge_obsidian_dagger
  • jaizmod:obsidian_sword, jaizmod:sharp_obsidian_sword, jaizmod:wedge_obsidian_sword
  • jaizmod:wedge_regular_obsidian_sword, jaizmod:sharp_regular_obsidian_sword, jaizmod:sharp_wedge_obsidian_sword

The sharp versions favour damage and the wedge versions generally favour durability or a different attack rhythm. The recipes make the intended progression easier to read than the long names do.

They are controls, not ordinary food, and each only stacks to one.
