Pipster is not open source. All rights belong to cptgummiball. The binding text is the Pipster License; this page only summarizes it.
- Playing with Pipster, in singleplayer and on any server.
- Videos, streams, screenshots, reviews and guides.
- Modpacks, public or private, free or paid, as long as the Pipster jar files stay exactly as published. Linking to the official download is preferred where the platform supports it.
- Writing your own mod that works with Pipster through the API, without shipping Pipster files in it.
- Changing Pipster in any way: patches, forks, ports, re-textures, modified jar files.
- Decompiling or reverse engineering Pipster, except where the law explicitly allows it.
- Uploading Pipster anywhere other than inside a modpack (other websites, launchers, mirrors).
- Using Pipster's textures, models, icons, sounds or texts in other projects.
- Translations (language files or resource packs).
- Putting Pipster classes or files into another mod.
Open a permission request and describe what you plan. A permission is only valid if cptgummiball grants it in writing in that issue, and only for what is described there.
Pipster is only published on Modrinth and CurseForge. Files from other sources are not official and may be modified.
