v1.2.2+: You will start the game with a new key item, Accelerator, in your bag. It functions as a toggle to make the game run at double speed, in a similar vein to the Gen IV 60 FPS patches.
- Some scenes, such as the title screen, end credits, and Berry Blender mini-game are not affected by the Accelerator.
- Note: This is known to cause lag spikes in some NPC-heavy areas of the overworld.

- If you have an HM move taught by means other than HM, you will need the HM item to use it in the overworld. This was implemented to prevent breaks in story progression, such as skipping S.S. Anne if you have a Pokémon with Cut.
