Troubleshooting

When I start the game, it crashes when the professor appears in the intro.

• The most likely cause of this is that you are using randomizer settings files from the original Tracker instead of the settings files from the Nat. Dex extension.
• If the settings file is called "RSE Kaizo.rnqs" or similar, use "RSE NatDex Kaizo.rnqs" or similar instead. You can find these files bundled with the Nat. Dex extension in natdex/rnqs_files, or from this link.
• This crash occurs when "Fastest Text", under "Misc. Tweaks", is enabled as an option in the randomizer settings. If you want instant text, the game has its own option for that in its in-game options menu, set by default.

(This issue should be resolved in v1.2.0+.)
